Brendan Murray has assured fans that he’ll “be back” after he was voted off The X Factor.
The 22-year-old made it to the semi-finals of the competition, but was voted off the show alongside Danny Tetley last night.
The singer was quiet on social media following the elimination, but returned to Instagram this afternoon to thank fans and his mentor, Louis Tomlinson, for supporting him during the competition.
Brendan shared two images of him and Louis and wrote: “Memories I’ll have for the rest of my life! ???? Thank you X factor, Thank you Louis Tomlinson, Thank everyone ❤️ I’ll be back xx”
Fans of the singer quickly took to the comments section to show him support and one wrote: “You are so amazing Brendan we are all so proud of you ! This is just the beginning.”
“You did great ! Proud of you x ♥️ don’t give up Brendan!” another said.
A third act is set to be eliminated from The X Factor tonight, ahead of next week’s finale.
