Bono pays his respects to Nice victims

Bono has flown back to Nice to pay his respects to those who lost their lives in the massacre earlier this month.

The singer was rescued by anti-terrorist police after being caught up in the tragedy on Bastille Day.

The 56-year-old was dressed in all black as he laid flowers and an emotional message at the scene where 84 people were tragically killed.

The U2 frontman used an inspiring line from one of his band’s songs, California (There Is No End To Love).

Bono wrote along with the flowers, “There is no end to grief, that’s how I know there is no end to love. Bono. With respect for lives lost here on 14/7/16.”
