Bob Geldof has shown his support for Sinead O’ Connor after the singer posted a series of worrying posts on her Facebook page over this week.
Gardai had rushed to a Dublin Hotel on Sunday afternoon where she was reportedly found “safe and well”.
Speaking to Radio Nova on their breakfast show Morning Glory with Dee & Marty this week the singer said he supported the star.
“She is a great friend…(she’s) one of the great Irish artists.
He continued by saying that “she has a great spirit and sometimes that’s exhausting.”
Geldof was optimistic saying that she would come back from her current situation and concluded by saying she is “genuinely one of the greats”.
Sinead is currently in hospital at the moment where she is said to be on life support recovering from a recent ordeal.
The singer’s verified Facebook page was taken down today following a string of emotional posts over the past number of days left fans seriously concerned about her.
