Bláthnaid Ní Chofaigh has lodged a complaint over alleged sexual harassment at RTÉ.
According to the Irish Sun, the TV presenter has taken a case against the broadcaster in the Workplace Relations Commission.
The Nationwide star is set to give evidence at a public hearing next month, but the alleged perpetrators will remain anonymous by order of the WRC.
The 51-year-old lodged a complaint under the Employment Equality Act, alleging she was harassed while working at the station in 2019.
It’s understood Bláthnaid named a number of people in her complaint, and one of them is believed to be a “public figure”.
RTÉ declined to comment on the matter when contacted by Goss.ie.
However, it’s understood the broadcaster plans to fight the case in the WRC.
A source told the Irish Sun last night: “We were aware this was coming down the line but there’s nothing else we can say.”
“We will just have to let it play out. We absolutely deny all the allegations.”
