Pierce Brosnan has become a grandfather for the first time as his son Sean welcomes a baby girl.
Sean who is the only son to Pierce and his late wife Cassandra named their bundle of joy Marley May Cassandra.
The family have had their fair share of tragedy over the years losing Cassandra to cancer in 1991 and then in 2013 Pierce’s adopted daughter Charlotte also died from cancer.

Sean, an actor in his own right wed his film producer girlfriend Sanja Banic last year in a stylish ceremony in New York.
Meanwhile, Pierce who has been filming IT in Dublin  flew to Paris to support his other son Dylan Brosnan who walked in Paris Fashion Week.
The 18 year old took to the catwalk for the Saint Laurent with his proud dad posting images of him.
