Amy Huberman is set to whisk Brian O’Driscoll on a month-long trip to Hollywood to celebrate his rugby retirement as a trial move.
The Stag actress will be taking him to Tinsletown after his final game at the end of the month – along with one-year-old baby Sadie.
Insiders revealed they plan to use their time in LA discussing their new plan for life now BOD, 35, is officially retired.
“It’s going to be nice and chilled for them and they deserve it because Brian’s had such a manic year with everything winding down,” a source told The Herald.

“He and Amy need a bit of family time together with Sadie and to let the idea of his next chapter sink in.”
Previously Amy, 34, spent time in LA when she was selected for a lead role in a big-budget TV comedy – Animal Practice – before the role was stripped from her at the last minute.
However their trip to LA suggests they are serious about moving to America for the future, to allow Amy to work on building her acting career.
Earlier this year Brian’s dad Frank said: “Amy’s career could take them abroad, so the future is bright for him and he’s optimistic.
“Although deep down Brian always worries about the future, that’s the nature of the beast.”
