Bob Geldof on considering a move to Ireland: 'I have a place coming here'

Bob Geldof has admitted he would consider moving home to Ireland.

The 64-year-old rocker, who has been living in London for a number of decades, revealed he would happily move back now that the boom years are over.

Having recently made a documentary on RTE about W.B. Yeats, the Boomtown Rats frontman insisted he “couldn’t stand” what Ireland had become during the Celtic Tiger.

“Now I would because in 10 years it has become what Yeats said it would become,” he told the Irish Mirror.

“And that pluralism is open, the b******s that went on before I couldn’t stand.

“All my family is here – except for my daughters in London. I have a place coming over here,” he added.
