Social media went into overdrive when it appeared that Jeremy McConnell and Stephanie Davis were back together – but now it turns out the whole thing was fake.
A picture was uploaded to an Instagram account claiming to be Stephanie of the pair looking loved up, leading fans to believe they were back together.
“Sometimes in life people take chances, people interfere but some of us really love someone that we try to forgive but never forget,” the pic was captioned.

However, the former Hollyoaks actress has slammed the rumours and revealed the account is a fake.
