Father Ted star Frank Kelly had died.
The Irish actor has passed away after at the age of 77, exactly eighteen years after the death of fellow Father Ted star Dermot Morgan.
In 2015, Frank revealed that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease,a degenerative condition affecting the nervous system.
Although the cause of death is currently unknown, the TV star was admitted to hospital earlier that year with heart failure after he was given the diagnosis.

Speaking about the condition, Frank said he reckons he had been living with the disease for years before it was diagnosed.
“I was shaving with my left hand with my right hand down by my side, which my daughter Fiona noticed was shaking,” he told the Irish Sun.
“That’s when they diagnosed the Parkinson’s. It was my first diagnoses but I am quite confident that I have had this for years and years.”
Condolences have been coming in since the news of Frank’s death emerged.
Dermot Morgan’s son Rob tweeted his respects to the actor’s family.

Frank is survived by his wife of 51 years Bairbre, his seven children and 17 grandchildren.
