While he prepares for his lightweight title clash in Las Vegas in 13 days time, UFC star Conor McGregor decided to surprise fans in a Galway nightclub before he jetted off stateside .
Taking time out of his training schedule, the featherweight champion has been getting credit for making a special effort to greet one particular fan who was wheelchair bound.

“Conor McGregor is a true credit to Ireland. When I heard he was in town myself and Stevo Timothy immediately went to search for him,” Sinead McGrath wrote on her page.
“When we found him he told me he loved my pyjamas and then I explained to him that my boyfriend uses a wheelchair, he linked arms with me and got his security to walk myself and himself to my boyfriends car to take pictures and a chat.
“An absolute hero and gentleman, thank you for representing us Conor,” she added.
