Conor McGregor reveals his desire to fight in Dublin: 'F**k Vegas!'

Conor McGregor has revealed his strong desire to fight in Ireland or the east coast of the US after he becomes a dual-weight champion.

The MMA fighter is set to go head to head against Brazilian Rafael Dos Anjos in Vegas on March 5 at the MGM Grand, in an effort to become champion of both the lightweight and featherweight division in the UFC.

Speaking to SevereMMA.com, the Crumlin native revealed that he’s determined to fight in Ireland or on the east coast of the US after UFC 200.

“F*** Vegas. F*** Vegas seriously. I want the east coast next. If they don’t give me Ireland, give me the east coast next. I’ll go back to Boston, I know they’re lobbying for New York, we had a great time when we went to Boston and the east coast, it’s not as far, it’s a five-hour flight,” he said.

Despite there being talks of Croke Park as a possible venue for a bout between Conor and a worthy opponent, he revealed that he wouldn’t rule out returning to the 3Arena where he beat Diego Brandao back in 2014.

“I’ll go back to The O2 no problem or The 3Arena or the Point. I’ll go back there and fight, I don’t care if it’s nine thousand or whatever.

Although Conor is expected to feature in the line up for UFC 200 on July 9 in Vegas, he’s adamant he’ll be leaving the bright lights of Vegas behind him for his next fight.

“Vegas this one. Vegas next one probably because I committed to UFC 200I I did commit to that, then f***ing east coast or Dublin,” he added.
