First Look: The Cadbury Creme Egg Café

The Cadbury Creme Egg Café is officially cracking open its doors at Lock 6 Café tomorrow, Tuesday February 16.

Creme Egg lovers can prepare to settle into the intimate café and enjoy music from a live DJ, quirky entertainment; special guest performers and an egg-stravagent tasting menu offering fans inspiring ways to enjoy their favourite treat.

Tickets to the café sold out in record time but there will be limited availability for walk-ins on the day.

The Creme Egg themed menu includes:

Creme Egg Toastie – golden toast, sandwiched together with a deliciously gooey Creme Egg
Creme Egg Donut – a hand-made Crème Egg donut you won’t find anywhere else in the world
Creme Egg Brownies – chocolate brownies baked to perfection with Creme Eggs added in for goo-d measure
Strawberries and Creme (Egg) – juicy strawberries with Creme Egg shavings, for a fruity taste!

While entry is free to the café, guests will be able to make a donation to the national mental health charity, Aware, who are the new charity partner of Mondeléz Ireland.

Speaking at the opening, Sinead Manly, Seasonal Brand Manager at Mondeléz Ireland said; “The excitement in the lead up to the opening has been incredible; we’re delighted to finally crack open the doors and welcome Creme Eggs biggest fans in for the most unique Fling they’ve ever had!”

The Café is open for one week only and closes on Saturday 20th February.
