This US superstar reveals ambitions to headline Glastonbury

This US superstar has revealed that playing Glastonbury Festival is on their bucket list.

Alicia Keys who joined Usher on stage for the 2024 SuperBowl Halftime Show last month made the revelations.

Although the 43-year-old performed to over 123 million people last month, she confessed that playing the highly anticipated UK festival is a goal of hers.

The Fallin’ singer admitted her dream event to play in an interview following her Formula 1 Grand Prix in Saudi Arabia.

Alicia also confessed: “With the Super Bowl, when you prepare for something like that your heart is racing.”

“Even though I am not doing a dance, your voice can’t keep up with it because of the adrenalin.”

“When you’re chilling in your room and then you are out there in front of 80,000 in the stadium it is ridiculous,” she confessed.

“It has trained me on how to figure out my breath and to learn how to keep my voice calm when everything else is chaotic and full of energy.”

“And Glastonbury? I think that needs to happen, don’t you?”

After months of speculation, the Glastonbury Festival line-up was finally revealed last week.

The iconic festival will take place in Worthy Farm, Pilton in the UK between the 26th and 30th of June.

Taking to their official Instagram account on Thursday morning, the event announced Dua Lipa, Coldplay and SZA as this year’s headliners.
