Taylor Swift fans are in a frenzy, as her new album has reportedly “leaked” online just one day before its release.
The Tortured Poets Department is the pop star’s newest release, and is set to drop on Friday, April 19th.
However, songs that are claimed to be from the new album have now emerged on social media, with some mentioning a Google Drive which contains the 17 tracks.
The singer announced the release of her 11th studio album during her acceptance speech at the Grammy Awards in February, where she won Album of the Year.
This marks the first time Taylor has given fans entirely new material since she dropped Midnights in October 2022.
Some Swifties have dived straight into the leaks, not wanting to wait any longer for the highly anticipated release, while others have decided to wait insisting that they are “true fans.”
Fans flooded to X to insist that they would not be listening: “Raise your hand if ur an ACTUAL Taylor Swift fan and aren’t listening to leaks.”

Other fans have speculated that the leaks are AI generated songs, and are not real or on the new album.
Taylor’s album is set to be her first explicit break-up album since 2012’s cult favourite Red, following her breakup from Joe Alwyn after six years together.
Her album release comes after Taylor was officially declared a billionaire following the major success of her Eras Tour.
Earlier this month, Forbes released their annual billionaire list for 2024, and Taylor landed in 14th place thanks to her estimated $1.1billion fortune.
The pop singer’s earnings were based on the estimated value of her music catalogue, her five homes, and her earnings from streaming deals, music sales, concert tickets and merchandise.
