U2 have announced they will be playing Ireland next year – but have yet to give exact dates.
The Dubliners revealed details of their new Innocence and Experience world tour today, which includes UK dates and starts in America in May.
However in a statement, U2 haven’t named any Irish dates just yet, but vowed they will be coming soon.
They said “special shows are being planned for Dublin for the end of next year” as part of the tour, which hasn’t been affected by Bono’s horrific bike accident.

It is likely to be after the start of November, when they play their final dates in Glasgow, Scotland.
They are expected to be playing the 3Arena, after announcing they want to to play indoor arenas now.
However, they may still play Croke Park, as only one date – The Script – has been announced for next year.
Their last tour – U2 360 in 2009-2011 – was the biggest tour in history with 110 shows that made US $736.4 million.
