Paul McCartney plays surprise concert in New York’s Grand Central Station

Paul McCartney played a surprise concert in New York’s Grand Central Station.

The singer invited stars such as Jon Bon Jovi, Meryl Streep, Amy Schumer, Kate Moss and Steve Buscemi to view the concert behind a black curtain at the transport hub.

The 76-year-old played 24 songs, which could be heard by shoppers and commuters throughout the famous landmark.

The singer held the impromptu gig to promote his new album, ‘Egypt Station’.

Paul only played three songs from the new album and instead focused on classics from The Beatles.

He performed songs such as Can’t Buy Me Love, Let It Be and Lady Madonna to name but a few.

The iconic musician also performed a new song about bullying and invited two women on-stage to tell the crowd their stories about being bullied.
