Nicky Byrne admits: 'Louis Walsh says I WON'T win the Eurovision'

While most of the country are behind Nicky Byrne and his Eurovision bid, Louis Walsh has told the singer not to get his hopes up.

The former Westlife manager has told the singer that although it will qualify, he doesn’t think it will win the overall prize.

“Louis has told me already that we aren’t going to win,” he said.

“I am under no illusions. He said I’m not going to win, that it’s a good song, it is catchy and it is the best one since Jedward and Lipstick,” he told the Irish Daily Mail.

Support: Westlife are fully behind Nicky

“It could make Top Ten; it will qualify but won’t win it. And that is Louis for you and if we qualify that will be a result.”

But Nicky admitted his former band mates are still behind him to win at Sweden in May.

“I only sent it to the band on Monday night and I have to say the response was amazing.

“I think we are all men now, I really do. The text messages back from them were just so supportive. Things like “fully behind you”, “Ireland 12 points”, “you can do this”, “I have your back”, from all of them.
