Niall Horan’s first major solo gig was ruined by technical issues.
The signer was a surprise act at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards this weekend.
The Mullingar man was singing his debut solo single This Town when the audio cut away.

However, this mishap didn’t phase Niall as he continued on without the back up as the crowd cheered him on.
The 23-year-old thanked his fans and talked to host Nick Grimshaw after admitting that it was a different experience performing solo.
“It was honestly a little bit different. How can it feel lonely [without 1D] with 10 thousand other people?”
Niall is set to play a couple of solo gigs over the next few months but former manager Simon Cowell has spoken out about the golfer being banned from the X Factor.
