Niall Horan has revealed the next One Direction record will be a more mature sound.
The Irish singer said the band, who are best known for pop hits like Beautiful and Best Song Ever, will have a different vibe this time around.
“I think it’s going to be a little bit more edgy. But obviously we feel like we’ve got some really good songs and we are happy,” he said.

Meanwhile Niall, 20, admitted he still can’t believe it when he plays massive stadiums like Wembley and Croke Park.
“When you step on stage at these amazing stadiums, we end up spending the first 20 minutes looking at each other going ‘Wow look where we are.'”
