US rockers Foo Fighters will headline Slane Castle next year.
The Best Of You singers are taking over the Castle on May 30th 2015, following the infamous Eminem gig last summer.
Speaking to Rick O’Shea on 2FM lead singer Dave Grohl made the surprise announcement.
“I am allowed to say I do know we are coming to Slane Castle May 30th 2015,” he said.
Radio host Rick insisted he had no idea Dave would be revealing the news, and sounded just as shocked as fans.

“We didn’t know this was going to happen. We didn’t even know if there was going to be a 2015,” he said.
Slane Castle hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons this year when a young girl was filmed performing oral sex on concert goers at the Eminem gig.
