American music legend ‘lined up’ as ‘final’ Glastonbury headline act

American music legend Stevie Wonder has reportedly been “lined” up as the “final” Glastonbury headline act.

The singer is also reportedly set to join Dua Lipa and Coldplay as headliners.

Stevie last played the pyramid stage at Worthy Farm 14 years ago.

A source told The Sun: “Stevie’s team have been working on a big tour and Glastonbury is something they want to make happen.

“He last performed there in 2010, when it was Glastonbury’s 40th birthday, and the American soul legend’s set went down a storm.”

“To have him back on the farm is something organisers Michael Eavis and his daughter Emily are keen to make happen and they’ll move heaven and earth to get Stevie on the line-up.”

They continued: “Stevie’s team are working on his dates now and hopefully things will be firmed up in the coming days.”

Organiser Emily Eavis said in October how they were holding out on booking acts to try to secure a mammoth line-up.

She said: “I thought it was kind of taking shape, and then last week I just got a call, and this is what happens if you wait a little longer, because quite often we’ll be booked up from July.”

“But this year we’re holding out for a little bit longer.”

“And then last week I got a call from [a representative of] a really big American artist saying, ‘This person’s around next year’.”

“And I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is incredible. Thank God we held the slot’.”
