Amy Huberman signs movie deal based on her novel – starring HERSELF

She’s already an author, designer and actress and now Amy Huberman is set to make her first movie.

The wife of Brian O’Driscoll has signed a deal to turn her book I Wished For You into a film.

Amy, 35, has penned a deal with the producer of hit Irish comedy The Stag, and the movie will be called Bolt.

The pregnant star has been hard at work with the script is ready to go and Treasure Entertainment will be making the film.

Producer Rebecca O’Flanagan, who was also behind The Stag, said the movie will bring her novel to the next stage.

“In the book, the premise is all her freinds are settlign downa nd she runs from a relatinoship. We’ve brought it further,” she said.

“It’s about the next life stage. A young woman who bolts from her new marriage in an attempt to escape the drudge of domesticity,” she told the Irish Times.
