Actor Ed Asner has died aged 91.
The seven-time Emmy winner was best known for playing Lou Grant on The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and voicing Carl Fredricksen in the animated film Up.
The news of his passing was shared via Twitter on Sunday, with his children writing: “We are sorry to say that our beloved patriarch passed away this morning peacefully.”
