Tributes have poured in for Marvel legend, Stan Lee, who died aged 95.
The comic book writer passed away on Monday morning, following a string of illnesses, including pneumonia and sight problems.

“There will never be another Stan Lee. For decades he provided both young and old with adventure, escape, comfort, confidence, inspiration, strength, friendship and joy. He exuded love and kindness and will leave an indelible mark on so, so, so many lives. Excelsior!!” Chris Evans, who played Captain America in the Avengers film series, tweeted.
“Thank you Stan Lee for making people who feel different realize they are special,” Seth Rogen said.
Other stars such as Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds, Winston Duke and Star Wars’ Mark Hamill also paid tributes to the comic book creator.

We’ve lost a creative genius. Stan Lee was a pioneering force in the superhero universe. I’m proud to have been a small part of his legacy and …. to have helped bring one of his characters to life. #StanLee #Wolverine pic.twitter.com/iOdefi7iYz

In a statement to Reuters, Stan’s daughter, J.C. Lee, said: “He felt an obligation to his fans to keep creating. He loved his life and he loved what he did for a living. His family loved him and his fans loved him. He was irreplaceable.”
The 68-year-old did not mention her father’s cause of death, but TMZ reported that Stan passed away in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after an ambulance was called to his house early on Monday morning.
