Former Disney Channel star Bridget Mendler is now a space startup CEO.
Bridget famously starred in the Disney Channel show Good Luck Charlie, and in the original Disney Channel movie, Lemonade Mouth.
On Monday, the actress took to X to share the exciting news.
She announced that she will serve as the CEO of Northwood Space, a startup on a mission to create a “data highway between earth and space.”
She wrote: “Expect the unexpected!”

She previously told CNBC she “completely fell in love with space law” while working at the Federal Communications Commission’s Space Bureau.
She said: “Space is getting easier along so many different dimensions, but still, the actual exercise of sending data to and from space is difficult. You have difficulty finding an access point for contacting your satellite.”
The 31-year-old worked with the agency in 2022 and has studied at the University of Southern California, MIT and Harvard, per her LinkedIn profile.
