Taylor Swift’s stalker receives 10 year probation sentence

A man who threatened to kill Taylor Swift and her family has been handed a 10 year probation sentence.

Frank Andrew Hoover broke a previous restraining order the singer had against him in October 2016 when he stalked her after a performance at a Formula 1 race.

TMZ report that he faced more charges in January of this year when he made death threats against the Swift family via email.

He now has to wear a GPS tracker for at least one year and stay a mile away from the family.

TMZ have said as part of the case he also has to undergo “psychological testing, and attend substance abuse classes, surrender all firearms and undergo random drug testing.”

Breaking any of the conditions of the ruling can result in a prison sentence.

Taylor has had other legal issues this year seeking money back from people who have sued her claiming copyright issues.
