Selena Gomez is reportedly “taking time to herself” amid rumours that her rekindled relationship with Justin Bieber has crumbled once again.
A source has told Entertainment Tonight that the 25-year-old is feeling overwhelmed with all the media attention, and is taking a break from work to spend time with her family outside of Los Angeles.
“Selena is very delicate; her ‘comeback’ to the spotlight has been tough – especially with the interest in her personal life with Justin and her mother,” the source said.
“She is taking time to herself. This is not the first time she has done this.”
The singer has had a rocky few months since reuniting with Justin, as she reportedly fell out with her mother Mandy Teefey.
“She wants to repair her relationship with her mother, that’s a priority for her, too,” the source continued.
“She needs to figure out how to live the life she wants in the spotlight – if that’s even possible.”
Justin and Selena’s romance has reportedly taken a turn, after the pair enjoyed a romantic trip to Jamaica for Justin’s father’s wedding.
