Scott Disick opens up about the death of his parents

His father died just three months after he lost his mother

Scott Disick has opened up about the death of his parents Bonnie and Jeffrey, who passed away within three months of each other.

The 37-year-old admitted he was finally ready to speak to his children, who he shares with Kourtney Kardashian, about their late grandparents.

In a Keeping Up With The Kardashians bonus clip, the father-of-three sits down with his youngest child Reign to look through his old childhood photographs.

Several photos feature Scott’s late mother, who died in late 2013, and his late father – who died less than three months later.

“You know, I don’t think I was really ready to talk about my family but now I think the more I talk about my parents the more my kids will feel connected to them and remember them,” he admitted.

“That’s the only way that they’re gonna ever feel that connection.”

In an earlier episode of the reality show, Scott admitted that speaking about his parents was “not an easy subject” for him.

“Losing my parents is not an easy subject for me to talk about. It puts me in a very vulnerable place, to remember them and think about them,” he said.

“As much as I was dreading looking through some photos because I thought it was going to bring out sad memories, I’m happy that Dave brought them with him,” he added, referencing his ‘uncle’ Dave Hacker.

“The truth is, it brought up so many amazing memories and things that I forgot.”

Kim Kardashian also looked at the photographs, telling her nephew Reign: “Look this was your grandpa. He was so nice.”

“And your grandma Bonnie, she was so silly. She would have loved you — loved you the best. You know why? Because you’re so silly.”

The news comes just months after Scott attempted to deal with the loss of his parents by checking in to a rehab facility.

However, the reality star was forced to leave the facility after just a few days – after someone leaked a photo of him in a meeting.

During the latest episode of #GossChats, social media star and TV presenter James Patrice addresses the recent cancellation of Dancing With The Stars, being single during lockdown and creating viral hits with his family.

Goss Chats is sponsored by top aesthetic clinic Haus of JeJuve.
