A vlogger has been arrested for shooting her boyfriend dead, after a YouTube prank went wrong.
According to the MailOnline, Monalisa Perez, was taken to custody on manslaughter charges yesterday following the incident.
The 19-year-old said that her late boyfriend, Pedro Ruiz, wanted to record the prank for YouTube.

The tragic accident happened in front of the the couple’s three year old daughter.
Pedro held a book to his chest, while Monalisa shot at it.
The pair believed that the bullet would not travel all the way through the book and Pedro would be safe.

Shortly before the shooting, Monalisa tweeted that the couple were going to perform a “dangerous” video.
“Me and Pedro are probably going to shoot one of the most dangerous videos ever?? HIS idea not MINE,” she wrote.

The Minnesota woman told police that she stood a foot away from Ruiz as she pulled the trigger.
