Paris Hilton has revealed why she kept her surrogates’ pregnancies a secret.
In January, the 42-year-old announced she had welcomed her first child via surrogacy with her husband Carter Reum.
The Hilton heiress later revealed they had named their baby boy Phoenix.

Ten months later, Paris announced she and Carter had welcomed their second child via surrogacy.
The couple welcomed a baby girl, whom they named London.
Speaking to Romper, Paris explained she had kept the pregnancies under wraps because most of her life has already “been so public”.
“My life has been so public, so out there,” the 42-year-old said.
“I didn’t want my son coming into this world with any negative energy.”

“I’m really happy I did it that way, just for Carter and I to have that journey together without the outside world chirping in,” Paris continued.
“My narrative and my story has been told by the media for half my life, and I just didn’t want my child being put out into the world without me being in control.”
