A new report has claimed Willow and Jaden Smith “feel bad” for their dad Will.
It comes after their mom Jada made a number of bombshell revelations about her and Will’s marriage during a press tour for her new tell-all memoir Worthy.
The actress revealed she and her husband of 26 years secretly split seven years ago.
Jada also revealed she no longer lives with Will, as she moved out of their shared home and bought her own place.
Despite being separated from Will since 2016, Jada said the pair have no plans to divorce.
In her recent interviews promoting her memoir, the 52-year-old has also spoken out about that Oscars slap, and claimed Chris Rock once asked her out amid rumours she and Will had called it quits.
A source has since told Entertainment Tonight that the estranged couple’s children Willow and Jaden “feel bad for their dad with all the recent headlines about their parents”.
A source added that the siblings wished that “some of their family’s private matters remained private”.
It comes after Will broke his silence on the bombshell revelations, showing his support for his estranged wife.
In a letter to Jay Shetty, which was read to Jada on an upcoming episode of his podcast On Purpose, the Men In Black star wrote: “I applaud and honour you. If I had read this book 30 years ago, I definitely would have hugged you more. I’ll start now.”
“Welcome to the author’s club. I love you endlessly. Now go get some Merlot and take a rest.”
Will also responded to a New York Times interview with Jada, admitting her new memoir “woke him up” as he found out that she was living “more on the edge” than he’d realised.
In an email to the newspaper, he wrote: “When you’ve been with someone for more than half of your life a sort of emotional blindness sets in, and you can all too easily lose your sensitivity to their hidden nuances and subtle beauties.”
The publication reported that Will has only just realised that Jada is “more resilient, clever and compassionate than he’d understood”.
