Lindsay Lohan reveals the sweet gift Jamie Lee Curtis gave her newborn son

Lindsay Lohan has revealed the sweet gift Jamie Lee Curtis gave her newborn son.

The actress welcomed her first child, a son named Luai, with her husband Bader Shammas last month.

The Mean Girls star has since revealed that Jamie Lee, who famously played her mother in the 2003 film Freaky Friday, sent her nearly a dozen different children’s books.

Jamie Lee also left a note for the new mum, which read: “A warm welcome to your Luai — I can’t wait to meet him! XO J.”

Lindsay shared a video of the bag of books to her Instagram Stories, and wrote: “Thank you so much Jamie!”

It comes after Jamie Lee shared a sweet Instagram post to mark the birth of Lindsay’s son.

The 64-year-old wrote: “MAGIC MONDAY! My movie daughter just made me a movie grandmother. Blessings to Lindsay and Bader for the birth of Luai! @lindsaylohan.”

Freaky Friday followed Tess (Jamie Lee Curtis) and her daughter Anna (Lindsay Lohan), whose fractured relationship is put under even more strain when they inexplicably switch bodies and are forced to live each other’s lives.

Back in May, it was reported that a sequel to the film was in the works with Lindsay and Jamie Lee.

A rep for Lindsay, 35, confirmed the birth of her first child last month.

They revealed the baby was born in Dubai, where the actress lives with her husband.

“The family is over the moon in love,” the rep said in a statement.

Lindsay secretly married her beau Bader last year, announced her pregnancy via Instagram in March.
