Lamar Odom insists he’s ‘not a stalker’ as he shares hopes to reconnect with Khloe Kardashian

Lamar Odom has insisted he’s “not a stalker”, as he shared his hopes to reconnect with his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian.

During an interview with E! News, the former Lakers player said he’d love to take the reality star out for lunch.

When asked what he’d say to Khloe if he got the chance to speak to her, the 42-year-old said: “First, I would ask her how’s she doing, how her child is doing and maybe just ask her for lunch, just to be cordial.”

Lamar also said just being “around her” would be a “blessing”.

During his appearance on the current season of Celebrity Big Brother, the former NBA star expressed his regret over their split during a candid chat with housemate Todrick Hall.

Lamar confessed: “I miss her so much. I wish I could take that time back.”

Speaking to E! News, Lamar said he stands by everything he said about Khloe on the show.

“I wanna tell everybody, I just wasn’t bringing her up to bring her up. I’m not a stalker or anything like that,” he said.

“I know that time moves on and people move on as well, even though I’d like to be her friend. But I don’t regret anything I talked about on the show. ”

“I don’t do anything to get a response from her or anything like that. I know how to slide into her DMs if I wanted to get her attention that bad.”

Lamar said he’s realised that “we all change” and he’s accepted that he “might not be able to be her friend.”

However, the former sports star said he thinks Khloe will always be with him “in a way that people can’t even really understand or fathom.”

Lamar and Khloe tied the knot in 2009, before she filed for divorce in December 2013.

Their divorce was later put on hold after Lamar’s overdose in 2015, which left him in a coma for three days.

Khloe supported Lamar during his recovery, but later proceeded with their divorce – which was finalised in 2016.
