Kyle Richards and Morgan Wade have addressed rumours they’re dating.
Last month, it was reported that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star had separated from her husband Mauricio Umansky.
However, Kyle and Mauricio later released a statement, in which they slammed rumours of their divorce as “untrue”, but revealed that the past year of their marriage had been “rough”.
Reports of Kyle and Mauricio’s separation came after fans began questioning the RHOBH star’s close relationship with country singer Morgan.
Fans had been searching Kyle’s Instagram for clues about her and her husband’s marriage problems, and many pointed out that she had been posting a lot of photos with Morgan in recent times – and not with her husband.
In an Instagram video, Kyle and Morgan addressed rumours they’re dating, while revealing that the reality star is set to play the singer’s love interest in the upcoming music video for her track Fall in Love With Me.
“I’ve done several music videos and every time there’s someone in it they always assume we’re dating or something’s going on,” the country singer explained.
“If you go on the Internet, you’ll see people are obsessed with us being friends.”
Kyle jokingly added, “Excuse me, they want to know why I’m friends with you.”
“We thought it would kind of be a good idea to kind of poke fun at that and troll the trolls a little bit,” Morgan said.
“The Internet is going to be popping off about this one I’m sure.”
“Well, if they’re gonna talk, you might as well give them something to talk about,” Kyle added.
Revealing how they first became close, the RHOBH star admitted: “I heard Morgan on the radio.”
“I heard ‘Wilder Days’ and then I went to all the others and I was like, ‘Wow, this girl is blowing me away with her voice and lyrics.’ And I looked her up on Instagram and I was like, ‘Oh, the tattoos and everything. I wasn’t expecting all that.'”
“So I followed her and then I kept listening to her music on repeat and then she sent me a DM asking me why I was following her.”
