Kyle Richards has admitted that there is a “big chance” her marriage “won’t last.”
Back in July, it was reported that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star had separated from her husband Mauricio Umansky.
After a “tough year,” the pair continue to live under the same roof in LA, but lead individual lives as they try to navigate what to do about their marriage.
In the season finale of the popular US reality TV show, which was filmed back in July, when the news of their split first broke, Kyle said to the camera. “I’ve come to realize that, you know, there’s a big chance that we’re not gonna end up together.”
When asked what happened by a producer, the 55-year-old responded: “There were things that happened that made me lose my trust and I wasn’t able to recover from…. I just want to be at peace wherever I’m at because I haven’t really had that.”
Beginning to cry, she said: “Am I done? It’s over.”
During the episode, the housewife opened up about life since after PEOPLE revealed the pair had gone their separate ways: “Things have been a lot more uncomfortable with me and Mo ever since the article came out, I think because it made it just so much more real,” she shared.”
“I feel like my kids have basically lived a fairy tale but then, I felt like the article coming out, they thought that the rug had been pulled out from underneath of them because things are worse than we led on to be.”
The pair decided it was time to “clear up” what was going on with their daughters.
Kyle told her four-daughters: “I think the most important thing is just for you guys to know we haven’t told you guys everything because we tried to protect you. And then, all of a sudden, you get blindsided by this public news and then you don’t know about it, it’s probably difficult.”
She added: “I just wanted to make sure that we were open and that you guys knew what we were going through and see if there’s any questions. I do want you guys to know that we haven’t talked about a divorce.”
The couple share three daughters together – Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15, while Kyle shares her eldest child, Farah, 35, with her ex-husband, Guraish Aldjufrie.
