Kim seeks a shapewear solution after printing old ‘Kimono’ label on 2 MILLION garments

Kim Kardashian has offered fans an update on her upcoming shapewear line.

Kim chose to change the name of her brand from Kimono after facing backlash from followers who felt the brand name was culturally insensitive to Japanese tradition.

However, Kim updated fans to say that she is struggling to find a way to re-label the brand, after almost two million garments were made with the kimono name printed onto them.

In a video, Kim detailed that she is “working really hard to figure out how to not be wasteful, and change the name at the same time.”

The Kimono name was printed onto the inside of the shapewear designs for a seamless finish.

“Since we are changing that I don’t want to be wasteful,” she said.

Showing her various options, she said: “And looking at the options, I don’t like that,”  she said, referring to a large square label placed over the old printing, as it is “just too big.”

“Trying to take it off just looks messy. We can’t figure that out,” she said, showing a faded printed label.

She then showed a small rectangular label cover up which hides the word Kimono but has the size and material description from the original label visible.

“I do like this one. That does look like a nice tag,” she expressed.
