Kim Kardashian says new reality show will show ‘different side’ to her family

Kim Kardashian has revealed her new reality show will show a “different side” to her famous family.

The KarJenner clan wrapped filming E!’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians back in January, after 14 years on air.

They have since signed a major deal with streaming service Hulu for a new series, and production officially kicked off in September.

In an interview with WSJ Magazine, Kim said her new show will reveal more of her professional life than the public has seen in the past.

The SKIMS founder said: “I think it will be a different side. But I wouldn’t say that our silly sides are not going to come out.”

The mother-of-four revealed fans will see more of her law studies, and she noted that her family retains editing rights to the show.

It comes after Kim’s younger sister Khloe revealed when the new reality show is set to air.

During her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday, the Good American founder said: “I think [it will premiere] in a few months, either end of January, early February.”

After TV host Ellen said “that’s fast!” Khloe agreed, “really fast!”

The 37-year-old explained: “That’s the beauty of Hulu, we’re streaming, and we get to have a much quicker turn around than previously. We’re really excited.”

“They’re here in the back shooting with us, and we’re so happy to be up and rolling again,” she added.

The show’s quicker turnaround will be welcomed by fans who previously complained about KUWTK airing months after events occurred in real time.

The Kardashian-Jenner family confirmed their partnership with Hulu last December, just months after they announced the end of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

The reality show catapulted the family into international fame, after launching on E! back in 2007.

Announcing the news that KUWTK was ending, Kim wrote in an Instagram post last September: “To our amazing fans. It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”

“After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children.”

“We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way,” she continued.

“Thank you to the thousands of individuals and businesses that have been a part of this experience and, most importantly, a very special thank you to Ryan Seacrest for believing in us, E! for being our partner, and our production team at Bunim/Murray, who’ve spent countless hours documenting our lives.”

“Our last season will air early next year in 2021. Without Keeping Up with The Kardashians, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who has watched and supported me and my family these past 14 incredible years.”

“This show made us who we are and I will be forever in debt to everyone who played a role in shaping our careers and changing our lives forever,” Kim added.
