Kim Kardashian has admitted she was “scared” to tell her ex-husband Kanye West that she hired a male nanny.
The reality star filed for divorce from the rapper in February 2021 after almost seven years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences”.
The former couple share four children together – North, Psalm, Saint and Chicago.
During the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim opened up about the process of hiring a caretaker for her and Kanye’s kids.
She said: “I recently hired a manny [male nanny] because I really wanted a male around that was going to be picking them up and taking them to sports.”
“I was scared out of my mind to tell their dad that,” the SKIMS founder admitted.
Despite Kim’s concerns, the first conversation between Kanye and the nanny went well.
She said: “When he was dropping off the kids, Kanye introduced himself and played [soccer] with Saint and him. He was so nice to him.”
“He said, ‘Hey, if you are going to help raise my son …’ Because [the nanny] handed [Saint] the ball really easily and [Kanye] said, ‘Don’t do that. Make him go get it himself. These are some of the rules I would want.’”
Two months after Kim and Kanye finalised their divorce last November, the rapper “married” Yeezy designer Bianca Censori in a secret ceremony.
However, it’s understood they haven’t filed a marriage certificate yet to make it legal.
