Kanye West’s romance with Irina Shayk is reportedly over.
According to Page Six, the rapper recently invited the supermodel to attend a couture show in Paris with him, but Irina turned him down.
A source told the outlet: “She likes him as a friend, but doesn’t want a relationship with him.”
“She doesn’t want the association that they are dating, which is what would have run in the press if she showed up [in Paris with him],” the insider continued. ”
“It would have been another month of news saying that they are dating.”
The pair sparked romance rumours in early June, after they were papped in France together on his 44th birthday.
But Page Six’s source has claimed: “She went to his birthday party as a friend. There were 50 other people there.”
“She doesn’t want to be linked with anyone right now,” they added. “She is happy being single.”
Kanye and Irina were linked 11 years after she starred in the music video for his hit song Power in 2010.
Irina shares a daughter named Lea with Hollywood actor Bradley Cooper, who she split from in 2019 after four years together.
Meanwhile, Kanye is only recently single after splitting from Kim Kardashian.
Kim filed for divorce from the Chicago native on February 19, after almost seven years of marriage.
The former couple have requested joint legal and physical custody of their four kids – North, 7, Saint 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2.
