Inside Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s ‘ironclad prenup’

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner reportedly signed an “ironclad” prenup before tying the knot back in 2019.

On Tuesday, the Jonas Brother star officially filed for divorce from his wife after four years of marriage.

According to Today, the singer filed the papers in Miami Dade County, stating that “the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken”.

According to the Blast, the couple’s “ironclad” prenup outlines that Joe will “keep all of his royalties from the music” – which includes anything he has earned with both the Jonas Brothers and DNCE.

Meanhile, Sophie will reportedly keep the money she made from Game of Thrones and “any residuals from her acting career”.

Any properties obtained before the couple got married will remain with their rightful owner, per the outlet.

Joe and Sophie will also reportedly “keep the rights to their image and likeness and businesses associated with their celebrity status”.

The only thing the couple will likely have to come to terms on is child support and custody of their two daughters.

Last week, TMZ reported that the couple were set to end their four-year marriage, after Joe recently retained a divorce lawyer.

The singer and the Game of Thrones actress recently sold their Miami mansion, and in recent weeks Joe was spotted out without his wedding ring.

Joe, 34, and Sophie, 27, famously tied the knot in Las Vegas following the Billboard Music Awards in May 2019.

One month later, the couple hosted a second ceremony at Château de Tourreau in Sarrians, France.

The pair share two children – a three-year-old daughter named Willa and another daughter, whose name has not yet been revealed, that they welcomed last year.
