Doja Cat has reportedly lost over 600,000 followers on Instagram, after slamming her fans.
Earlier this week, the Attention rapper hit out at her loyal fanbase for calling themselves ‘Kittenz’.
The 27-year-old wrote on new social media platform Threads: “My fans don’t name themselves s**t. If you call yourself a ‘kitten’ or f**king ‘kittenz’ that means you need to get off your phone and get a job and help your parents with the house.”
When fans pointed out that Doja came up with the nickname for her fans years ago, she said that she made it up as an “alcoholic teen.”
Another fan asked the singer what they should change their social media handles to, and Doja told them that they should “delete” their “entire account and rethink everything.”
The Kiss Me More rapper, whose real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, also wrote in a since-deleted post: “you making my government name your sn [screenname] is creepy as f**k.”

After a Taylor Swift fan account told Doja that she’d be “nothing” without her fans who have supported her “through thick and thin,” she responded: “Nobody forced you, [I don’t know] why you’re talking to me like you’re my mother bitch, you sound like a crazy person.”
Her social media rant prompted several of her biggest fan pages, including The Kittens Room, to delete their Twitter accounts.
Doja has since deactivated her Threads account.
