Sean “Diddy” Combs and Cassie have reunited, following the sudden death of his ex-girlfriend Kim Porter.
On Thursday, Diddy’s longtime ex-girlfriend and mother of three of his five children was found dead at the age of 47.
Despite splitting earlier this year, the tragedy seems to have brought Diddy and Cassie back together – as the pair were spotted out and about in LA on Friday.
A source told E! News, “Cassie reached out to Diddy, sending him a text message checking up on him and expressing her condolences.”
The 49-year-old was “pleasantly surprised” to hear from her, and “very touched by her thoughtful text.”
The couple, who finally went public with their relationship in 2012 after years of speculation, called it quits on their relationship a few months ago.
The pair met in the early 2000s, after she was signed to his Bad Boy Records label, and were first romantically linked in 2007.
Meanwhile, Diddy is said to be “heartbroken” over the death of Kim, who he dated her 13 years before splitting in 2007.
The couple were parents to three kids together –Â Christian, 20, and 11-year-old twin daughters D’Lila Star and Jessie James – and they remained extremely close and committed to co-parenting following their split.
