Courteney Cox has teamed up with L’Oréal Paris for a new hair campaign.
The brand is known for getting A-listers involved in their campaigns and this latest addition is no different.
The #OWNIT campaign encourages women to own and appreciate everything about themselves, including their changing hair colour.
The Friends actress admitted to PEOPLE that getting older can be difficult: “You have to accept getting older, and that’s something that I had a hard time doing.”
The 54-year-old also said that she’s a DIY-type of woman: “I actually maintain my hair colour at home – it’s really easy.”
“I don’t have a lot of grey, but I do touch-ups. And once every two months I’ll go to the salon, just because it’s a nice pampering.”
Courtney even revealed that she sometimes doesn’t overdo it when it comes to doing her hair, which makes her new role even more meaningful: “I wash my hair every day. Sometimes I’ll put a comb through it, but most days I just go! I don’t brush it either, so I was thrilled that L’Oréal wanted to work with me! It’s a real compliment.”
The L’Oréal Paris commercial will be aired during this weekend’s Golden Globes broadcast, with spokeswoman Julianne Moore and Amber Heard also appearing in the ad.
