Celebrity tributes pour in for the late Kobe Bryant and daughter Gigi

The death of All-Star athlete Kobe Bryant has shaken the public, as millions mourn the tragic loss of the basketball player and his 13-year-old daughter.

Kobe and daughter Gigi lost their lives in an unexpected helicopter crash in Calabases, California.

While the public mourns, so do celebrities who knew him personally and professionally.

Kim Kardashian led the tributes, which began flooding in last night as Hollywood rushed to share their shock and extend their sympathies to Kobe’s wife Vanessa and their family.

Taking to Twitter, Kim wrote:

“My heart is so heavy. No one should ever experience what the families involved are going through.”

“This has affected us all so much but I cannot begin to imagine what Vanessa is feeling losing her husband and her baby girl.”

“I cry just thinking about it.”

Bella Hadid took to Instagram to share her sorrow and condolences with the families.

Many celebs hoped to share their sympathies ahead of last night’s Grammy Awards, as many members of the public gathered at the LA Staples Centre to pay homage to the late athlete. The Grammys were also held at the event space.
