Barbie director Greta Gerwig has announced the birth of her second child.
The Oscar-nominated star, who is also an actress and writer, and her filmmaker beau Noah Baumbach welcomed their first child together in 2021.
The 39-year-old told Elle UK in an article published on Wednesday that she has since welcomed a baby boy.
The Little Women and Lady Bird director said: “He’s a little Schmoo. I don’t know if you can tell energy from the picture, but that’s very much his energy. He’s a wise little baby.”
Greta announced her pregnancy news on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in December.
She met Noah on the set of 2010 comedy-drama Greenberg, and they have continued to collaborate together on projects in recent years – including on the live action Barbie film.
Margot Robbie stars as the iconic doll while Ryan Gosling plays her love interest Ken in the film – which hits cinemas on July 21.
