Ariana Grande to release charity single of Somewhere Over The Rainbow cover

Ariana Grande is set to release her cover of Somewhere Over the Rainbow from her One Love Manchester concert as a charity single.

Emotions were high as the 23-year-old closed the concert with a stunning rendition of the Judy Garland classic – and now she’s set to release the song to raise even more money for the victims of the Manchester terror attack that took place at her concert on May 22.

According to The Sun, the news comes after fans campaigned for her to release the cover as a single.

A music insider said, “Ariana’s team are working out behind the scenes what is necessary for the song to be released.

“But everyone’s confident there won’t be anything stopping it getting out there and continuing to help those affected by the tragedy.”

The song will reportedly raise money for the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund and the British Red Cross.

One Love Manchester saw performances from Miley Cyrus, Coldplay, Take That, Robbie Williams, Justin Bieber, Liam Gallagher, Katy Perry and more, and has so far raised £10million.

Meanwhile, it was revealed today that Ariana and her crew got worker bee tattoos backstage after the One Love Manchester gig, as a tribute to the city.
