Actor Simu Liu has revealed what kind of food was served at the 2024 Oscars.
Simu, who is best known for starring in Marvel’s Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings and most recently as one of the Kens in Barbie, attended the 96th Academy Awards on Sunday, where he performed alongside Ryan Gosling during his musical number.
Ryan and 65 other Kens from the hit film performed I’m Just Ken for Hollywood’s A-listers in the Dolby Theatre over the weekend.
The Canadian actor has since taken to X and given his official ratings for the snacks on offer at the Oscars ceremony and its after parties.
He wrote on the social media platform: “food at the afterparties: gov ball – insane. wood-fired pizzas, paella, wagyu, sliders, PEKING DUCK?!? did nothing but inhale food the whole time.”

During the ceremony itself, Jimmy treated the A-listers to pretzels and sweets which he stashed under the audience members’ seats.
Sharing a snap of the snack box on Instagram, Jimmy said: “We don’t like it when people are hungry, so Jimmy provided snacks for everyone at the #Oscars and included a donation to the @LAfoodbank for each one!”
