Angelina Jolie has officially filed for divorce from Brad Pitt.
The couple have been together since first meeting in 2004 on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith – the same year Brad famously split from Friends star Jennifer Aniston.
Angelina and Brad finally wed in 2014, but just two years into their marriage the couple have ended their relationship.

In new papers revealed by TMZ, Angelina states the date of their separation as Septenber 15, 2016.
The couple have six children together, twins Vivienne and Knox and daughter Shilo are all their natural children – as their adopted children Maddox, Zahara and Pax.
TMX state that a source told them here is no “third person” involved in their split and that Angelina filed for divorce because she was “extremely upset” with Brad’s parenting methods.
The couple controversially got together after meeting on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith, and publicly flaunted their relationship, despite Brad still being married to Jennifer Aniston.
