Whether we’re having a heat wave or sulking in the shade, summer time in Ireland means it’s time to get the tanning mitts out.

Irish summer’s are so unpredictable but that doesn’t mean you can’t be bronzed all the time.

The best way to protect your skin from harmful rays but still have that beachy glow is to fake it.

There’s no harsh smell from this tan, so there’s don’t panic about that dodgy biscuit smell!

3. Sally Hansen

One of the most popular brands out there, Sally Hansen is best known for their Airbrush Legs instant tan.

Their instant tan comes in light, medium, and dark in either a matte or a shimmer.

It’s basically make-up for your legs, giving you a smooth, Instagram filtered pair of pins.

They also do amazing nail polishes and strengtheners, which can be bought in Penney’s and pharmacies nationwide.

 

4. Bellamianta

One of our pricier tans on the list, but definitely one to invest in.

The Irish tan is praised by beauty blogger and entrepreneur, Suzanne Jackson, who has really brought this tan up on our radar.

The brunette beauty uses the Rapid Mousse, priced at €24, which gives a golden olive glow.

You can buy the tan online from their website, but Inish Pharmacy and McCabes pharmacies nationwide are selling it, with more pharmacies excited to stock it soon!

 

5. Tan Organic

Like bBold, Tan Organic pride themselves in their natural and eco-friendly self-tanner.

It is more expensive than most other tans on this list, but the nourishing deliciousness in it makes it worth the money.

Their tans contains only organic ingredients, like aloe vera, argan oil, ginseng, and other natural niceness that includes Rosanna Davidson as one of their fans!

These ingredients are quite hydrating that you don’t need to fret about your skin drying out.

St Moritz is one of Ireland’s most popular brand, coming close to Cocoa Brown.

The inexpensive tan comes in a mousse, but it’s staple liquid tan is one of the best tans out there.

The liquid is easy to use and leaves no streaks, so don’t worry if you end up with a few tan lines on those hard to reach places!

Another amazing Irish brand, The Tan is an award winning tan

The non-sticky formula smells delish and takes just 2 to 3 hours for a soft, natural tan.

You can leave it on overnight for 8 hours for it to build up to a richer, darker tan.

Slightly pricey at €22.99, but it does work wonders and isn’t too drying.

8. Rimmel Sun Shimmer

Rimmel’s Sun Shimmer is a classic tan that we’ve all tried at least once in our life.

An old favourite, it reminds many of us of dodgy disco dancing and hoping it doesn’t rain!

Rimmel have made some serious improvements to the formula for the tan, so not only is it longer lasting but they’re released loads of new products from the Sun Shimmer range.

They still have the original instant tan, but now they have their in-shower tan, mousse, BB cream, and much more.

The Irish tanning brand, Karora, not only has super cute packaging, but the tan is fab

It doesn’t totally break the bank, compared to most other tans.
