American singer Demi Lovato has hailed Hozier’s hit Take Me To Church as “incredible music”.
The popstar was on BBC Radio 1 with Clara Amfo when she recalled the first time she heard the number one song.
“I think the first time I heard it, it was on the radio and I was like ‘wow this is on pop radio’ and it’s not your typical pop song and in fact it doesn’t sound like a pop song but the term pop means popular so it is a pop song,” she said.

The 23-year-old was performing in the infamous Live Lounge on the UK radio show where she shared her love for the Wicklow mans music.
“I think I even tweeted it, thank god that somebody put this on the radio because this is incredible music so I remember the first time I heard it definitely,” she added.
